Carol Egger:    Carol Egger has always loved rocks, minerals and the earth she lives on. As a child, she began to collect rocks that grabbed her fancy and this gradually grew into a more formal occupation.

Carol graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, then worked for oil companies in Oklahoma City. After marriage and two children, she decided to return to college, this time in education. As a result, she taught Earth Science for 22 years. During this time, Carol began to take jewelry design courses in construction, casting, gemology and other related techniques. The jewelry she wore to her classes frequently was used to teach her students about the formation of minerals, their locations and the mining process.

Carol and her husband Jim have participated in art shows through Oklahoma for 20 years. She has displayed and sold her work through Art Galleries: Daffodil Hill Gallery and Gardens in Bethany and Latitudes South in Houston, currently at 50 Penn Place Art Gallery in Oklahoma City and Aunt Gertrude’s House Gift Shop in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She has taught classes in jewelry history, design and construction. Her jewelry incorporates natural, semi-precious and precious minerals in combinations with 14 karat gold, gold-filled and sterling silver. Her work is worn worldwide by celebrities and people like you.
